What is annoying is that I can't seem to figure out how to delete a keychain item? I hacked around trying to use rb-appscript to script the Keychain Access.app app, but no joy.

Great post. This definitely helped me. I am trying to store the password for connecting to Google Gcal in my Keychain, instead of having it as a property in a plist. I can't wait to see the second part, I took a quick spin around and didn't see it yet.
